We are Recruiting!
BID St Andrews is looking for a new BID Manager to lead the team providing support for the St Andrews Business Improvement District. Business Improvement Districts are business led partnerships which are created through a ballot process to deliver additional services to local businesses. They can be a powerful tool for promoting the District, directly involving local businesses in local activities and facilitating the business community and local authorities working together to improve the local trading environment.

The role is to support the businesses within the St Andrews Business Improvement District and achieve the delivery of the objectives as stated in the BID St Andrews business plan. This will be done by liaising with and developing strong relationships with businesses, agencies, the police and the local councils; interpreting ideas and initiatives into practical deliverable actions; project management; and coordinating activity across all levels of stakeholders. This will be a broad ranging role requiring a proactive individual with strong commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will bring experience of working within a multiple stakeholder environment, encompassing retail, property and central and local government.

The Manager position is for a fixed term until the next BID St Andrews ballot in 2026, however if successful the position will extend beyond this point on a successful ballot, up to the next BID ballot in 2031. The manager will be an integral part of delivering the ballot process.
